DUBLIN COMES TO DIGBETH FOR A REALLY GOOD TIME!

Post-Covid good times return to Digbeth on Thursday night when the Irish post-crunk and apres-garde stylings of Really Good Time take to the Night Owl stage this Thursday 24th March for a free entry show.

Really Good Time are a four-piece supergroup comprising members of Irish groups Beach/Fat-Pablo and Wastefellow who take the sounds of early PIxies and LCD Soundsystem and put them through a blender. The result is a hair-raising, ear-immolating soundscape, perfectly illustrated by their latest double A-side Best Medicine/Sitting Me Down. The band are renowned for live performances in which the main concern is that the audience lives up to the name by having a Really Good Time!

Support comes from upcoming, alternative trio, Lucky Number You with a DJ set from Cave Girl’s Max Fisher.

Lucky Number You are a three-piece from Birmingham, conceived as a studio project during 2020 with one aim - to create and produce a full album whilst being locked down in their homes. The band takes its cue from timeless 80s and 90s pop and rock classics while having a sound all of its own. Their debut LP Aftercare is coming soon, in the meantime you can hear it LIVE at The Night Owl alongside the rowdy Dubliners this Thursday.
